About our family medicine practice
Forget Me Not Healthcare Clinic is a family medicine practice offering head-to-toe health care and disease prevention services for patients ages 18+ in Anchorage, Alaska. Conveniently located in the Midtown Anchorage UMed District, we opened our clinic because we wanted to provide care the way we think it should be – with each patient receiving the time and attention they need to explain their concerns and health goals, understand their condition, explore their treatment and disease prevention options, and receive the most appropriate care to feel their best.
Quality, not quantity
Our goal is not to see as many patients as possible – it’s to help our patients be as healthy as possible. We work toward this by delivering compassionate and exceptional patient-centered health care, regardless of our patients’ financial circumstances, with an endless commitment to improve our patients’ outcomes and quality of life. Whole-person model As a nurse practitioner-owned and -operated family medicine practice, our care is based on the whole-person model, taking into consideration your emotional, physical and spiritual health. This often differs from the medical model, which focuses primarily on a patient’s physical health. We believe our whole-person approach results in the most effective, long-lasting health outcomes for our patients. Taking the time to listen Years of experience enables us to evaluate our patients’ health by how they look and act. However, we believe one of the best skills a provider can have is the ability to listen to what the patient is saying, ask the right questions to narrow down the patients’ symptoms to a diagnosis, and then create a plan of care and treatment. Partners in your health care As part of our patient-centered approach, we consider ourselves partners in our patients’ health care. We are here to evaluate your health and present your treatment options in a way that allows you to understand and confidently choose the best option for you. |
